Professor John B. K. Aheto - Member

Professor John B. K. Aheto is a Professor, professionally certified and chartered in Accounting and Finance. He is a Financial Analyst. At present Prof. Aheto is the Vice President of the Kings University College and Chairman of the Academic committee of the University.

His areas of expertise are internal control systems, accounting information systems, human resource development, organizational change and transformation; SME management, entrepreneurial development, finance, project management and monitoring and evaluation. He is a member of the following professional bodies: CPA, CIA CMA, CGFM, (USA) BL, FCIAMC (Ghana.).

Prof. Aheto’s academic qualifications are B.Sc. (Admin) in Accounting, University of Ghana, June 1970; MBA, New York University, in Accounting and International Finance, 1973; M. Phil., New York. University in Accounting and International Finance, 1978 ; ABD, NYU in Accounting and International Finance 1981 ; LLB, University of Ghana, Faculty of Law, June 2003

Professional, he has the following qualifications, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Governmental Financial Manager, Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration, Ghana BL, Ghana Law School.

He has been a consultant for over thirty-two (32) years. He has over thirty-five (35) years of university teaching, research, consulting and practical professional experience in accounting, auditing, tax, human resource development, programme/project monitoring and evaluation, and finance in the USA and Ghana.

He is widely recognized for excellence in teaching, research, and community service by Florida A & M University and Pace University, peers, students, relevant professional bodies, and community organization. He was voted "Teacher of the Year" four times at Florida A & M University and twice at Pace University.

The Kings University College (KUC) was established in January 2009 to provide tertiary education at undergraduate and
post graduate levels.
